Caesars Windsor Casino: Caesars Windsor, along with its new hotel tower, theater, and ballroom, was unveiled in the early summer of 2008. It overlooks the Detroit River and has a riverside park that runs along in front of the complex.
It is the biggest casino/hotel complex of the casinos in the Detroit/Windsor area.
Augustus Lobby in Caesars Windsor
When Caesars took over Casino Windsor, the brand required a lobby of a certain size and standard. The Augustus Lobby holds the hotel check-in for both hotel towers, as well as the Augustus Cafe. It is located in the new hotel tower, the Augustus Tower.
Forum Hotel Tower and Rotunda in Caesars Windsor
The Forum Tower was renovated as part of the Caesars makeover. The rooms are comparable in size and decor as those in the Augustus Tower. The Rotunda is the sun-shaped atrium and is home to the Cosmos Lunge, Artist Cafe, Starbucks, Vu Bar, Pronto Cafe, and Promenade Ballroom.
The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor
The 5,000-seat theater has retractable bleachers that convert the two-story concert space into almost 40,000 square feet of convention and trade-show space. Billy Joel was the first to play at the venue that now gets as many as two shows a week. The theater’s size and amenities compete with venues like the Palace in Metro Detroit to attract top-notch entertainment.
The Augustus Ballroom at Caesars Windsor
The Augustus Ballroom covers 26,000 square feet and can be converted into four separate rooms.
Forum Tower Lobby at Caesars Windsor
The Forum Tower Lobby used to hold hotel check-in for Casino Windsor. When Caesars took over, the check-in was moved to the new Augustus Tower with its spacious lobby. The check-in serves both hotel towers.
The Forum Tower Lobby now serves as an elegant entryway for Neros Steak House. Note the circular-themed painting that reflects the casino/hotel’s circular-themed décor. Other examples include room dividers in the Augustus lobby, floor patterns, and the circular-shaped Rotunda and Legends Sports Bar.
Artist Cafe at Caesars Windsor
Artist Cafe is just one of the dining options at Caesars Windsor. Other choices include the Market Buffet, Pronto Cafe, Neros Steak House, Legends Sports Bar, Augustus Cafe, and Starbucks. Nightlife at the casino/hotel includes Cosmos Lounge and Vu Bar.
Neros Steak House at Caesars Windsor
Neros Steak House is a fine-dining restaurant known for its extensive wine selection and 28-day dry-aged steaks. Neros Windsor is the first Neros to open outside of Las Vegas.
Vu Bar at Caesars Windsor
A funky bar is located along the Riverside Drive curve of the Caesars Rotunda, Vu Bar has an outside terrace with a view of the Detroit skyline. Vu Bar at Caesars Windsor is one of two night-life venues in the casino/hotel complex. Cosmos Lounge is located in the middle of the Rotunda.
