Rocky Gap Casino – Western Maryland

Rocky Gap Casino Resort, located in Western Maryland near Cumberland, is an award-winning resort with a gorgeous mountain and lake-side setting, featuring a 200-room hotel, four restaurants, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, a spa, indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, pro shop, and a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

The casino opened in May 2013. At this time, the resort also unveiled renovations to its lobby, hotel rooms, restaurants, and golf course. A new event and conference center opened in late 2013.

Outdoor Recreation

Rocky Gap Casino Resort is located at Rocky Gap State Park which is comprised of more than 3,000 acres of public land with hiking trails and a 243-acre lake. The park has 278 campsites, an amphitheater, and picnic facilities. Visitors enjoy hiking, biking, boating, fishing and nature programs. The resort rents bicycles, fishing gear, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and standup paddleboards.

Casino and Gaming Amenities

The casino features approximately 550 slot machines, 10 table games, and a casino bar. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course

The 18-hole, 7,000-yard course provides golfers a distinctive challenge rarely found. The course features a fully stocked pro shop and is equipped with a fleet of high-quality golf carts and new white sand in all the bunkers. Practice areas include a 50-spot driving range, two large putting greens, two chipping areas and a practice bunker.
